Mental Health Awareness

Our Community

Veterinarians keep our beloved horses and other healthy, which is no easy feat. We donate 5% of our proceeds to The Not One More Vet foundation to support mental health awareness in the vet community.

We celebrate all

Inclusivity

We believe that all bodies are beautiful, which is why we do not edit or retouch bodies or skin on any of our photos. Here, everyone is welcome as they are.

Meet Lexi

An animal-obsessed, jewelry-collecting, proud "horse girl," Lexi spent her high school days at the barn and her college summers as a horse camp counselor.

She has received more horse-themed gifts than she can count and has been referred to as a "horse girl" in every capacity. When she left for college, she counted no less than 15 horse-themed books, 10 horse-themed journals, and 22 pieces of horse-themed accessories that had been given to her over the years.

Last year, she was looking through all of her jewelry (as one does) and realized that somehow she only had one piece of equestrian-themed jewelry.

This revelation caused her to go on an hour-long rant to her husband about how she wished there was bespoke, high-quality, equestrian-inspired jewelry that could be passed down for generations...

...and, as "horse girls" do, she immediately set her mind to designing and launching a jewelry company that provides exactly that.

Lexi believes that community is the foundation of a fulfilling life and that happiness is the truest form of beauty. She welcomes all genders, all animal lovers, and all fans of expressive, durable, and beautiful jewelry to come as you are and celebrate all that makes us unique.

  • The Initial Idea: February '24

While driving her Toyota Camry north towards the snow-capped mountains in Durango, Lexi came up with the concept for Saddle & Stone. She switched seats with her husband, George, and sketched out the initial concepts for the inaugural line.

  • The Renderings: April '24

After flushing out the designs some more, Lexi decided to commit to the idea of bringing this collection to life. She knew what she wanted but had never used a drawing to create something wearable and 3D. She remembered something she learned while horseback riding. You only have to do something for the first time once.

  • Tests, Adjustments, and Final Inventory: June '24–January '25

Seeing ideas in person for the first time is an out of body experience...which quickly faded into making adjustments before committing to the high-quality products for the actual line! This step included hours of feeling overwhelmed and plenty of additional revisions to make sure that each piece is perfect. Trust us, it is. We can’t wait for you to see it all for yourself!
